After artec received a major order for the delivery of sports equipment for the King Abdullah Sports City stadium reference project from Saudi Arabia at the end of last year, we successfully delivered our sports equipment to Saudi Arabia a few weeks ago. The large container shipment reached the destination port of Jeddah about two weeks after it was shipped and has since been transported by truck to the King Abdullah Sports City construction site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our delivery consisted of the complete track and field equipment in accordance with track type A. This means that international and prestigious national athletics competitions can be held in accordance with IAAF rules and regulations. Among other products, we deliverd the equipment for<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the running disciplines incl. Hurdles, obstacles and starting machines,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the throwing disciplines (shot put, javelin throw, hammer throw and discus throw) with the necessary protective nets,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the jumping disciplines (pole vault, high jump, long jump and triple jump)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

as well as a wide variety of transport trolleys and systems<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The items delivered also included the necessary accessories for the competition judges. These include, for example, starter podiums and judge’s stairs. In order to be able to adequately honour the competition winners, the necessary winners’ podiums were also supplied by artec Sportger\u00e4te.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expertise and know-how in demand from artec Sportger\u00e4te<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the delivery, we were also commissioned by our Saudi Arabian customer to supervise the installation of the equipment, as our customer wanted to make full use of artec’s expertise and know-how and ensure optimal installation of the sports equipment at the facility. Thus, several of our artec employees visited the King Abdullah Sports City construction site in Jeddah for a week. This trip to Saudi Arabia has now been successfully completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Client highly satisfied with professional project management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When looking at the delivery, our customer confirmed a one hundred percent delivery reliability, as the shipment arrived at the construction site complete and undamaged, even down to the small items. Furthermore, our customer was very impressed by the high quality of our products as well as the reliability of the professional management of the project! For this reason, we talked about further business in the future at the end of our visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the highly successful completion of this order, we have reached a milestone in the company history of artec Sportger\u00e4te. We were encouraged to continue on the path of internationalisation we embarked upon last year. This philosophy will become increasingly concrete in the coming year 2015, so that the highest quality sports equipment “made by artec” will continue to expand!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In conclusion, we can say that our employees brought back exciting experiences and impressions from Saudi Arabia to Germany that we will be talking about for a long time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
