At the same time, the dimensions of our goal correspond to the usual American football goal size: the height of the entire football goal is 9.15 meters, while the width is 5.64 meters. The goal stands on a single post, which is bent backwards. The crossbar is supported by this post and is placed at a height of 3.05 meters, the uprights (goalposts) also have a height of 6.10 meters. Furthermore, the American football goal has a projection of 1.50 meters.
The football goal from artec® Sportgeräte is manufactured extremely robust and therefore extremely durable, so that our customers get a product that will bring joy over a very long time. Our goals are made of high quality profiles with dimensions of 100 x 120 millimeters, which are made of thick-walled aluminum. Accordingly, the football goal is available in natural aluminum color. Since we as a manufacturer can respond to the wishes of our customers, other designs of the American football goal are also possible. For example, the display can be changed. Thus, the distance between the actual goal, which begins at a height of about 3 meters, and the post can be reduced or increased. Accessories needed
Protective pad
To protect the players, the post of the football goal is equipped with a protective pad. This can be quickly and easily mounted on the post with the help of hook and loop fastener and fits perfectly around the aluminum profile with dimensions 100 x 120 millimeters. Since American football is a high-stakes game, the protective padding should not be dispensed with. This significantly reduces the risk of injury to the players.
ground sockets
The American football goal is mounted in ground sockets, which are embedded in the ground. artec® Sportgeräte offers two different ground sockets for the football goal:
The standard ground socket comes with a cover that can be easily removed from the socket if necessary, so that the football goal can then be anchored in the ground socket. The somewhat fancier variant is the ground socket special. This has a tilt lid that is permanently attached to the ground socket and can be folded down and lowered into the ground when opened. Thus, there is no risk of losing the lid. In addition, the lid of the ground socket special can be coated individually. When the socket is folded shut, it thus optimally adapts to the surface of the sports facility and is hardly noticeable.
Rugby goals

Unlike the American football goal, the rugby goal consists of two posts with a height of 6.50 meters. The width of the goal is similar to the width of the football goal and is 5.60 meters. The crossbar is also present on both goals and is placed at a height of about 3 meters (3.00 meters for the rugby goal, 3.05 meters for the football goal). The Rugby goal is available at artec® in two different colors: aluminum blank and white powder coated.
Rugby accessories
The rugby goal requires the same accessories as the football goal. The goal is also mounted in ground sockets, for which the ground socket Standard as well as the ground socket Special from artec® Sportgeräte are suitable. Since the rugby goal has two posts, it goes without saying that two ground sockets must also be embedded in the ground so that the goal is protected from tipping over and stands stably. Also, the protective pad should be attached to the posts of the rugby goal to minimize the likelihood of injury to the players.
