High quality goal nets are used in almost all ball sport disciplines. Especially in the field of soccer, there is a wide variety of different goal nets, simply because of the many different types of soccer goals (competition goals, training goals, youth goals, small field goals, recreational goals and mini goals) as well as the different types of goal projections. If you then consider the great amount of net colors and color combinations available, the goal net range quickly becomes unmanageable. To give you a summarizing overview of our goal nets, we present below the different possibilities. The technical design of the goal net varies, for example, with regard to the size of the goal, the mesh size of the nets, the cut of the net or even the material used. The following net sizes are available (for all possible goal projections):

- Goal net for mini goals (1.20 x 0.80 meters / 1.80 x 1.20 meters / 2.40 x 1.60 meters / 3.00 x 1.00 meters / 3.00 x 1.60 m)
- Soccer goal net for competition goals 7.32 x 2.44 meters
- Goal net for training goals 7.32 x 2.44 meters
- Goal net for youth goals 5.00 x 2.00 meters
- Net for recreational goals / futsal goals: size 3.00 x 2.00 meters
- Beach soccer goal nets in 5.50 x 2.20 meters
In addition to goal nets for soccer goals, we also have nets for other sports in our offer: the goal net for field hockey goals has a size of 3.66 x 2.14 meters and is available in various designs (thickness, mesh size). We also offer goal nets for handball goals and beach handball goals with the dimensions of 3.00 x 2.00 meters. A distinctive feature of the beach handball goal is that there is no ground frame to which the net can be attached. Instead, you then need a chain weight for the goal net so that it stops the ball safely.
Goal net material
The standard mesh sizes of the nets are 120, 100, 60, 45 and 25 millimeters. The net thicknesses are 3, 4 and 5 millimeters for the high-strength knotless nets made of polypropylene and 4 millimeters for nets made of polyester and biodegradable polylactic acid. In contrast, honeycomb (hexagonal) nets and the two-color nets in the checkerboard pattern have a net thickness of 3.5 millimeters.
For recreational goals, we also offer a vandal-proof goal net – the so-called “Hercules net”. This is popularly used on public soccer fields and playgrounds in big cities. The goal net offers the advantage that the braided polyester line also contains a steel rope. This design is extremely robust and stable, which makes it much more difficult to wantonly destroy this goal net quickly. The Hercules net is therefore not easily broken and at the same time has a deterrent effect on potential vandals. So, in summary, we have the following goal nets made of different materials in our program:
- Polypropylene: 3, 4 and 5 millimeters thickness
- Honeycomb goal net made of polypropylene, 3.5 millimeter thickness
- Two-color goal net with checkerboard pattern made of polypropylene, 3.5 millimeter thickness
- Polyester: 4 millimeter thickness
- Polylactic acid (biodegradable): 4 millimeter thickness
- Vandal-proof goal net with steel insert or galvanized wire rope
We bring color to the goal net
The available mesh colors are very diverse. In detail, the following colors are available for a goal net:
- Solid color goal net: white, green, blue, yellow, red, orange, black, purple
- Two-color goal net: red-white, blue-white, green-white, red-black, black-white, black-yellow, blue-yellow
Of course, other color combinations are available upon request. In addition, there is the possibility to provide the goal net with the club’s own logo, for example, so that a strong club identification can be shown on the pitch. And this is exactly where the net suspensions used by artec® Sportgeräte offer great advantages. Our milled net suspension is double deburred at the factory so there are no sharp corners or edges. And for the safety net hooks, we use very sturdy and flat net hooks with rounded edges. In this way, the combination of high-quality nets with outstanding net suspensions creates the basis for nets that can be used in the long term!
Most of the nets are available directly from the factory within a very short time, so that we can ensure a very high delivery readiness for our customers. For custom-made products, our customers may need a little more patience, but delivery is always possible in a few weeks!
