What is the size of a soccer goal?
The size of soccer goals varies depending on the purpose for which they are used. Accordingly, a competition or training goal is, of course, significantly larger than a goal used for youth soccer or for a kicking area. The following goal sizes are available at artec Sportgeräte:

What is the net depth of a soccer goal?
The upper and lower depth of a soccer goal is also described as net depth. The net depths at artec Sportgeräte have the following measurements:
- Net depth 0.50 m / 0.50 m (e.g. mini goal)
- Net depth 0.80 m / 1.00 m (e.g. junior soccer goal or recreational goal)
- Net depth 0.80 m / 1.50 m (e.g. training soccer goal or junior soccer goal)
- Net depth 0.80 m / 2.00 m (e.g. tournament soccer goal with continental net support)
- Net depth 2.00 m / 2.00 m (tournament soccer goal with tension rods)
Technical explanation of the goal structure
A goal can be constructed and built in quite different technical ways: There are, for example, fully welded goals as well as bolted goals. The same applies to different designs of base frames. Therefore, the goals can be chosen respectively to fit the requirements of the relevant location in your stadium or on your sports ground.

Technical design of rear framework
In general, there are two different types of the rear framework: the open and closed rear framework:
For the open rear framework, the type of net suspension system poses the essential differentiating factor of two different product lines at artec Sportgeräte. Firstly, with our premium product line we offer our customers the integrated net suspension system. Secondly, in 2015 we launched our new easytec product line which features a cost-optimised model with safety net hooks for our price-conscious customers.
Furthermore, for the recreational goals and mini fun goals we offer the option of a completely closed rear framework with sturdy aluminium profiles. The separate aluminum struts are fixed to the goal with circumferential welds, so a very good stability of the soccer goal can be ensured. It also makes the soccer goal vandalism-proof.
Therefore, depending on the type of goal, there are the following options:
- Goal with integrated net suspension system (premium-line)
- Goal with safety net hooks (easytec-line)
- Goal with closed rear framework with aluminium profiles (e.g. mini fun goals/recreational goals)
Profiles for posts and crossbar
Our aluminum soccer goals are made of high quality aluminum profiles. We offer the following high-quality aluminium profiles for our goals:
- Oval profile 100 x 120 mm
- Rectangle profile 80 x 80 mm
By using profiles with a high wall thickness, our soccer goal is stable and robust against weather conditions and a high playing activity. The goal is available in natural aluminum or white colour. If the soccer goal is supposed to be white, the aluminum gets an additional powder coating.
