In Moers, a sports field is transformed into a sports park
Since last summer, the building process on the grounds of the TV Asberg in Moers has been ongoing. The outdated sports field is being modernized and the range of sports offerings is being significantly expanded at the same time. In the end, players will have access to two large fields and one youth field with artificial turf at the Asberg sports park. . For track and field, the extensive renovations will include a 110-meter running track as well as a long jump and high jump facility. In addition, athletes from TV Asberg will soon be able to compete in shot-putting. After the opening of the new sports facility, there will be a wider range of leisure activities offered. The renovation and modernization of sports facilities enables clubs to offer an attractive range of sports. This secures the existence of the clubs and, above all, encourages people to exercise. The new sports park will be a place of movement and community – we are happy to be a part of it.
artec® delivers sports equipment to Moers
In the beginning of March we delivered the remaining sports equipment to Moers. This completes the project for us. In total, we were allowed to equip the sports facility with artec® sports equipment for many different disciplines. For example, we supplied the TV Asberg with new soccer and handball goals, team and coaches cabins as well as basketball facilities.
New soccer goals for TV Asberg
A new soccer field obviously needs new soccer goals. Therefore, a large part of our delivery consisted of goals. Mainly our team of drivers brought youth goals of the type PROTECTOR to the new soccer field. The special feature of these goals is the integrated anti-tilt device. With a suitable weight in the ground frame and two special wheels, our youth goals are extremely sturdy and still mobile. As shown in the picture, we also have goals with this equipment in the size 7.32 x 2.44 m as training goals.
Of course, we delivered the goals with the appropriate accessories. With net protection, nets in club colors and tension ropes the soccer goals are ready for use.
BERLIN MITTE team cabin in Moers
In order that substitutes and fans no longer have to stand on the field’s edge and are protected from bad weather causes, we equipped the new soccer field with our BERLIN MITTE team cabin. Thanks to thick-walled, multi-reinforced aluminum profiles, TV Asberg will be able to enjoy these cabins for a long time. The viewing slots in the side walls provide a perfect view of the game.
Other ball sports disciplines for the sports park Asberg
In addition to soccer, in future basketball and beach volleyball will also be played at sports park Asberg. At least our beach volleyball posts in yellow incl. net and court markings will make sure of that.. For an exciting match of basketball only the ball is missing. artec® installed already a complete basketball facility in Moers. The facilities consist of a two-pole stand with a projection of 2.25 meters. The fully welded stand is TÜV-tested and meets all safety requirements. Together with a large target board made of coplast including a noise-reducing rubber edge and the matching basket, the stand becomes a ready-to-play basketball facility.
Two handball goals were also part of the delivery and represent a real visual highlight from our point of view.
Running, jumping, throwing – track and field equipment from artec®
In Moers, we also had the chance to show our expertise in the area of track and field. Besides take-off boards for long-jump and the matching jump pit cover, we also installed our shot-put board.
