High quality hurdle for training and competition
The application possibilities of the high quality hurdles from artec® are manifold. That is why they are used in athletics for school sports, for training in clubs as well as for professional competitions. In addition to their use in athletics, hurdles can be found in the jumping training of many other sports. This type of training improves the coordination, agility and technique of the athlete. The versatile hurdle can therefore be used to optimize training in athletics as well as in other sports such as soccer.

Training hurdle
The basic frame of the hurdle for training and school sports is made of aluminum and is fully welded with rounded edges. So screwing is not necessary anymore. We make sure that there are no sharp edges, which reduces the risk of injury. The hurdle bar continues to consist of a yellow plastic tube, which can be quickly adjusted in height with the help of a push button via a clip system. A measuring scale embedded in the profile also makes it easy to read off the set height. The hurdle can be adjusted to 4 different heights, which are 60.0 cm, 68.5 cm, 76.2 cm and 84 cm. For individual training at school or in the club, the hurdle can thus be optimally adapted to the athlete and also to the respective training situation.
Competition hurdle
The high-quality competition hurdle is also made of aluminum and convinces like the training hurdle with a fully welded base frame. The safety of the athletes is ensured by the fact that there are no sharp edges. Instead, we manufacture the hurdle with a rounded profile, which minimizes the risk of injury. The hurdle is equipped with an internal 6-way height adjustment, which allows heights of 68.5 cm, 76.2 cm, 84.0 cm, 91.4 cm, 99.0 cm and 106.7 cm. Likewise, a 6-fold adjustment of the counterweight can be made. Both are easily and quickly adjusted via a brass lever.
In contrast to the training hurdle, the hurdle batten of the competition hurdle is made of solid ash wood, which has a high stability and at the same time an amazing elasticity. The hurdle from artec® thus offers the highest quality for professional use for athletes. It meets the standards for professional use and has an IAAF certificate.
Hurdle aluminum trolley
Optimal storage and fast transport
Since a hurdle is usually used for a short time in athletics and also in training and for this reason must be transported frequently from the storage location to the use and back again, artec® Sportgeräte offers hurdle transport carts made of aluminum in various designs. These are characterized by a robust design as well as quick and easy handling. The hurdles are stacked on the transport trolley and can be fixed by means of a hook with screw lock, so that the hurdles are securely fixed on the trolley even during transport. The trolleys are easy to move due to their foam-covered pneumatic wheels and thus offer high comfort during use. At artec® two variants of the hurdle transport trolley are available, which differ in the way of loading:
- Loading from the rear
- Loading from the side
The dumbbell transport trolley, which is loaded from the rear, is again available in 4 sizes: 10, 20, 30 or 40 hurdles can be loaded. In the version where the trolley is loaded from the side, 20, 30 or 40 hurdles can be transported at the same time.
