Anti-tilt device for goals – also for retrofitting
The anti-tilt device for goals with wheels and weights reliably protects soccer goals from tipping over. The mounted wheels allow mobile goals with anti-tilt device to be moved flexibly on the soccer field. By using internal counterweights made of steel (steel core filling), which are screwed directly to the goal, a subsequent filling of the artec®-anti-tilt device with sand or other weights on site is no longer necessary.
Our anti-tilt device for goals can therefore be retrofittedeasily without any problems even to existing soccer goals of other types of construction or manufacturers. Thanks to the foamed air wheels, goals with the artec®-anti-tilt device have optimum running properties on all sports surfaces and can therefore also be moved by young people to the required position on the sports ground.
Safety for all types of soccer goals
The requirements for the safety of soccer goals result from the regulations of the municipal-accident-associations as well as DIN/EN 748. These specify that free-standing soccer goals must be equipped with a ground anchorage (e.g. ground sockets, ground anchors, etc.) or suitable counterweights in order to achieve the necessary stability. Particulary in the case of counterweights, such as those used in the artec®-anti-tilt device, the questions which weight is actually required and which technical solution is the best arise. In this context, we point out that different counterweights are required depending on the type of soccer goal and the goal projection. For example, in order to achieve the stability of 1,100 N prescribed by DIN/EN 748 for a free-standing goal, a counterweight of 200 kg id required for a soccer goal with a lower projection of 1 m. In contrast, a counterweight of only 100 kg is sufficient for a lower projection of 2m.
