Options for goal net attachments
The kind of net attachment is a small but important detail which has to be considered at the purchase of a football goal. On the one hand this refers to the regular suspension of the net on the goal frame. For this artec® offers two different systems: the integrated net suspension system and the cost-optimized easytec version with net hooks. The net is still secured on the base frame either with a simple tensioning rope or by a stable aluminium rod system which is also available in a theft-proof lockable version. And then, we have the net attachment ARENA in our programme. It serves as protection against theft of the football goal nets and is attached to the goal post as well as to the goal crossbar.
Rod system for net securing
Instead of a tensioning rope, a high quality rod system can also be used to secure the goal net to the base frame. This system is made of aluminium and provides for an extremely precise fit of the net. The rod system of artec® is available for the following goals:
- Football goals 7.32 x 2.44 m
- Mobile training goals 7.32 x 2.44 m
- Junior football goals 5 x 2 m
- Handball goals 3 x 2 m
The tensioning rope or rod system is slid through eyelets which are welded to the base frame. To protect the net against theft, the rod system is also available in a lockable version.
Net attachment ARENA
Our net attachment ARENA is also theft-protected. The net attachment accurately closes the net groove in which the goal net is fixed. The assembly is quick and easy by using screws. The net attachment system ARENA is available in our programme in the colours plain aluminium finish or white. It can be purchased separately for goal post and crossbar and is available for the following goals:
- Football goals and training goals 7.32 x 2.44 m
- Junior goals 5 x 2 m
- Handball goals 3 x 2 m
Football goals PREMIUM and easytec
artec® goals from our product line PREMIUM are equipped with a high-quality integrated net suspension system. The double deburred milling does not have any sharp edges and is therefore very gentle on the net and thus ensures longevity of the goal net.
Our PREMIUM football goals are in contrast to our easytec line. Our easytecfootball goals are cost-optimised for our customers. This is partly due to the fact that net safety hooks are used instead of an integrated net suspension system. The plastic net hooks are attached in the goal frame profile and securely hold the goal net in place. The net hooks are very evenly constructed and therefore emerge only minimally from the profile and are thus eliminating any safety concerns.
As the net suspension only differs with regard to the installation to the goal frame, the rod system as net attachment is available for our PREMIUM as well as for our easytec goals. The net attachment ARENA, on the other hand, is only suitable for goals of our PREMIUM line.
Goal nets and replacement nets
In our online shop you will find the fitting goal net for every football goal. These include competition goals, training goals, junior goals, recreational goals as well as mini goals in different sizes. The nets made of polypropylene are available according to the respective net depths. Furthermore, they differ in the following characteristics:
- Mesh size: 45 mm, 60 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm
- Material strength: 3 mm, 3.5 mm, 4 mm
- Net colour: unicoloured or bi-coloured in different colours
Apart from football goal nets, you will of course also find suitable nets in various designs for other goals such as handball goals or hockey goals.
Further equipment for football goals
Please find below further equipment we have in our programme for football goals:
- Anti-tilt systems: Goals can be secured against tipping over either with tilt protection elements which are applied from above or by a welded-on anti-tilt system. Our robust anti-tilt system consists of an aluminium profile with an integrated steel core and foam-filled pneumatic wheels which ensure that the goal can be moved around easily.
- Wheels: Wheels for football goals can also be purchased separately without anti-tilting device. With these, mobile goals can be moved quickly and easily across the sports ground.
- Chain weights for football goals and junior goals: Instead of a base frame, goals can also be equipped with a chain weight. This is made of steel and covered with a plastic sleeve. The weighting is available in various net depths (1 m, 1.5 m or 2 m).
- Post sleeve for football goals: The post sleeve is suitable for goals that are installed in ground sockets. The aluminium sleeve ensures an optimum fit of the goals and prevents soiling.
- Goal lifter for football goals: The goal lifter makes it easier to lift the goals out of the ground sockets.
- Transport trolley for mobile goals: Freestanding goals without wheels can conveniently be transported with a transport trolley. Our robust aluminium design convinces with steerable special wheels, easy handling and high product quality.
- Goal reduction for junior goals: In junior football the goalkeeper, due to his height, is often unable to hold the high balls that go directly below the crossbar. Therefore, goal reductions which reduce the height of the junior goal from 2.00 m to about 1.65 m are increasingly used. By reducing the height of the goal, the players’ technique and playing intelligence are enhanced.
