What are the dimensions of a handball goal?

The common size of a handball goal is 3 x 2 meters. A handball goal must also meet this requirement according to the rules of the German Handball Federation (DHB) so that it may be used in international competitions. The DHB also specifies the following requirements for handball goals:

Post and crossbar must be made of the same material
The profile of the post and crossbar must be 8 x 8 centimeters square profile
The handball goal is bicolored, the colors have a high contrast

Handball goals for all purposes

Net suspension

Basically, when it comes to handball goal, we offer our customers high quality, fully welded handball goals made of very sturdy aluminum profiles with two different net suspensions:

Integrated net suspension
safety net hooks (easytec version)

The milled premium net suspension is deburred twice. Due to the high-quality milling, which has no sharp edges, this net suspension is very gentle on the net. The goal net also remains firmly and securely anchored in the handball goal. If you buy a handball goal, then you can also get the cost-optimized easytec net suspension. This includes very flat net hooks that allow the net to be quickly and easily secured in the goal.

Safe stand of the goal

The installation of the goals can, as necessary, be carried out with ground sockets and respective adapters or with ground anchors. These can, of course, be found in our wide range of accessories. A handball goal for outdoor can also be manufactured as a mobile or transportable handball goal. However, in this case, the goal must be secured from tipping over. For this purpose, we offer an anti-tilt device, which consists of an aluminum profile with a steel core. In addition, foamed air wheels are attached to the counterweight, which allows the goal to be moved around the pitch. So our anti-tilt device kills two birds with one stone!

Possible uses for the handball goal

For supervised outdoor courts we carry goals with plastic nets in our assortment. For unsupervised courts our goal “Vandalo” poses the perfect solution. Thanks to the robust profiles in combination with “Herkules” nets we offer our customers a vandalism-proof version of the handball goal!

One further solution for unsupervised courts is a goal with closed rear framework made of fully welded aluminium pipes which poses high protection against vandalism due to its very sturdy construction. For the goals with closed rear framework made of aluminium pipes it is possible to additionally integrate a soccer target training board and also to fill the aluminium profiles with sand for noise reduction. Apart from the aforementioned goals we also offer the goals in military standard.

We have, of course, the right handball goal for beach handball in our programme as well. We produce our goals for beach handball also with high-quality aluminium profiles – naturally with our integrated net suspension system as well as, in our easytec version, with safety net hooks! The surface of the aluminium profiles is delivered in plain aluminium finish or in a bright yellow powder coated design. The baseframe of the beach handball goal is replaced with a plastic covered chain weight for the goal net. The beach goals are fastened to the ground either with turn adapters or without foundation with an installation box buried in the sand. For further equipment for beach goals we also deliver, of course, nets in bright colours as well as the necessary field markings.
