The quality of take-off boards with IAAF certificate is a very important parameter when it comes to long and triple jump competitions on the highest level. This not only concerns the performance of the athletes themselves (especially in elite sports) but also the smooth run of the competitions. Because steady technical jump conditions as well as the swift handling of take-off boards ensure an optimal and quick running of the competition!
In order to meet these requirements, for many years, artec has been putting great importance to the technical development as well as the high production quality of the take-off boards. In co-operation with the relevant professional and trade circles (e.g. DIN, DLV, etc), we therefore continuously develop the normative and technical general conditions in order to then implement these developments in production on the highest quality level. But not only the technical production has an important part to play. The easy handling of the products in practice is especially important to ensure readiness and flexibility during training and competitions.
Technology and production on the highest level
We at artec develop and produce the take-off boards ourselves at our company site in Melle. Hereby we not only ensure a continuous development of the products but also guarantee a very high product quality due to our quality control. Here we produce multi-functional take-off boards which are completely independent of weather conditions and very slip-proof for the athletes thanks to a special technical tensioning construction.
For the take-off boards, we mainly differentiate the products by the criteria “type of use” and “size”. When it comes to the type of use it is discerned between competition and training/school sports, whereas for the size the following dimensions are available:

Extensive assortment
In addition to high-quality take-off boards, artec® has other accessories for long jump and triple jump in its range. For example, blank boards are needed for the run-up track for the long jump. On the one hand, these can be purchased as turning boards, but are also available separately. These come in the same sizes as the take-off boards and are also available in various designs.
